Remove Existing Webtrends Optimize and/or Analytics Tags

You can either use the Webtrends Infinity-hosted tag or separate Analytics and Webtrends Optimize® tags, but never use both. Combining tags can result in duplication of data during collection that will appear in reporting.

If you want to use the Webtrends Infinity-hosted tag, remove separate Analytics and Webtrends Optimize tags. Below are examples of original tags (Original Tag column). Replace these tags with the Webtrends Infinity-hosted tag.

Original Tag Webtrends Infinity-hosted Tag
Optimize tag (header)

<script src="http://www.domain.com/js/wt_capi.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
</head>

<script type="text/javascript">

Analytics tag (footer)

<script>
